PROGRAM TRACKS
ACADEMIC (A) TRACK: The perfect choice for high beginning to advanced level students who plan to enter an American university or who will need English for studying or working in a scholarly setting. Emphasis is on preparing students for active PARTICIPATION in an ACADEMIC ENVIRONMENT. Students build up their confidence as they prepare for comprehending lectures, participating in discussions and debates, giving presentations, and completing class projects. Track A is especially popular for students preparing to take the TOEFL.

BUSINESS (B) TRACK: Excellent for intermediate to advanced level students wanting to improve their English for use in the world of business, or in the workplace in general. Track B prepares students with the language and cultural skills necessary for successful COMMUNICATION in PROFESSIONAL environments where English is the common language, whether working in the U.S. or in today's international marketplace.

GENERAL COMMUNICATION (C) TRACK: Exceptional preparation for successful COMMUNICATION with native speakers and others in an English-speaking COMMUNITY. Track C prepares beginning to high intermediate level students for a richer experience living in Hawaii or another English-speaking environment, for world travel, or for casual communication with foreigners in the student's home country. Track C provides challenging opportunities for practicing English CONVERSATION in the classroom, on campus, and in the community. Special features of Track C include studying a movie together and participating in "track-wide" Living Skills Workshops.
